Your car may seem to be in pretty good shape. You might have roadside assistance. But while these things are helpful, they don't change the fact that sometimes your vehicle might suffer a breakdown.

Here is a list of some things you should always have in your car in case of an emergency:

  1. Charged cell phone: If you have a cell phone, you likely carry it with you at all times, but you should make sure that it is fully charged whenever you get into the car. You may want to keep a portable charger on you just in case.
  2. First-aid kit: It's always a good idea to keep bandages, medical tape, gauze, antiseptic cream, and any other items that you and your family might need.
  3. Jumper cables:: Cables that are at least ten feet in length and coated with eight-gauge rubber ought to do the trick.
  4. Water: Always keep some drinking water handy.
  5. Snacks: Non-perishable snacks are always good to have on-hand.

Be sure to schedule with our service center at our dealership in Caldwell, ID before you go on a long trip to make sure your vehicle is in tip-top shape!
